Hello, fellow winos!
Welcome back for this week’s Wino Wednesday, co-hosted with Danielle from Sweet Southern Girl. Let me cover the ground rules for the party:
- Grab the Wino Wednesday Button
- Write a post that is wine-related
- Link up and visit with the other partiers

Easy peezy. Now on to the wine.
So, where I live in South Carolina, we see snow maybe once a year….which is just fine by me. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t enjoy the occasional snow day.
But with the white stuff comes ice, and in this area, that typically means downed power lines and/or broken pipes. We had freezing temps a few weeks ago, and the city had a broken water main, which meant the entire city was without water for at least 18 hours and then boil advisory after that.
I don’t like to be one of those people who rushes to the grocery, but I did go for supplies yesterday….You know, a couple gallons of drinking water as well as a few bottles of wine just in case.
