Like Kenzie from Chasing My Extraordinary, I have been an aspiring runner for years. This week she ran with a co-worker and got four workouts in. I’m a little proud and a little envious of her for getting it together and sticking with a routine for a whole week. Maybe I’ll get my act together as a result?

I thought this post from Venus Trapped in Mars had some good ideas for increasing the load time of your blog. It never hurts to make the site a tad more user friendly.

Actually going a yoga class rather than working out at home is something I’ve wanted to do forever but haven’t yet. That needs to change soon, and luckily, Busy Being Jennifer has this handy list of tips to know before I select a class.

We’ve been nearing the end of our living and dining room remodel for a while now (I still owe the blog readers an update), but we haven’t decided how we want to trim our fireplace out. If we decide not to go with built-in bookshelves, I’m loving the simple mantel decor that Maison de Pax shared in her fireplace makeover.
