So, I’m going to tell y’all that I love that the weather is cooling off for fall, but it has been gray and drizzly every day for the last week. I’m not sure I can handle it; I need a little sunshine.

Everyone please keep your fingers crossed that we have sunshine by Friday when I’ll be driving to New Orleans. Rainy weather when I have 12 hours of driving is not my idea of a good time.

Nearly all of my energy this week is focused on getting ready to head out of town. I’m trying to get all my work stuff caught up so I can (mostly) not worry about it while I’m gone. I’m also working hard on scheduling a lot of the bloggy business too.

Over the weekend, I took the Streamline Your Space workshop. I’m still slowly working through the lessons, but so far, I’m so pleased with the content. I have learned about several great tools and tips to make blogging and social media easier and faster. My favorite accomplishment so far is a custom email signature.

So I know this is a Dawn detergent ad, but I love this video. When I was younger, seals were my favorite animals. The babies in this video touch my heart.

On the note of furbabies, my little one hasn’t doing so well. His right eye starting running about a week and a half ago, and we just thought it was allergies. On Friday, he starting showing pain on the right side of his mouth as well. After watching him lie about all weekend without any interest in playing, we decided he needed to see the vet yesterday.

The vet suspects an abscess in his mouth or gums and has prescribed antibiotics. I know it takes a couple days for them to do the job, but I just want him to feel better. I miss my high energy, playful terrorist of a puppy.

This poor pup hasn’t been feeling well since last week. We went to see the vet today and hopefully the medicine will have him feeling better soon. #pets #dogsofinstagram #puppy #roscoegram #pitbull
