Good morning, loves!
I am so happy to have a few minutes to sit down and have a cup of virtual coffee and catch up with you this morning.
I have survived the first big deadline of open enrollment, though I am still sick. The weather is supposed to change from 70s to 20s this weekend, so I’m my sinuses will re-group on their efforts to put me in the ground.
Despite feeling cruddy, I was cranking out the business at work. I was bragging to my Mister yesterday about the sales goals I had met for myself; I don’t think it’s appropriate to share on the blog, but I’m pretty pleased with the production.
Another accomplishment that happened over the weekend our neighborhood participating in the local Christmas parade for the first time ever. While getting the float set up required a lot of effort, the project was a lot more fun than I expected it to be.
Between work, sickness and parade, things haven’t been getting done around the house the way I’d like them to be. Laundry and grocery shopping must happen this evening. Wednesday in Anti-Procrastination Day.
The Mister and I agreed to host Christmas Eve dinner for his side of the family, so there is a lot of cleaning, decorating and baking to be done this weekend. Though I guess I should be glad that I’ve accomplished about 50 percent of my December goals.
I’m thinking about serving either spaghetti or lasagna with salad and garlic bread. Simple and filling. What do you think?
I suppose I should get moving; I’m headed to day class in jujitsu for the first time in about a month and then it will be back to work for me. Thanks for stopping by for a cup of coffee.
What’s been happening in your home? What do you need to get accomplished today.
