Good morning, friends!

Is everyone ready to head back to work after the long weekend?

I didn’t think so. So, I thought we’d start the work week off with a cup of virtual coffee to ease back into the routine.

So I’m hobbling around this morning because as I mentioned last week on #FitforMeThursday, I set a schedule to start running again this month. Well, I started back on Sunday. That first week is usually pretty brutal for soreness, no matter how much I stretch afterward.

Anyway, I’m supposed to run again today, so we’ll see if I can move tomorrow. I’m thinking of ordering a foam roller. Does anyone have any thoughts or recommendations?

This week is the second week of having plaster repair and painting at work. These repairs absolutely need to happen after four leaks in my office earlier this summer from thunderstorms. The ceilings are going to look so much better when this is finished, but I’m over having someone else in my work space. I’ve definitely gotten used to working alone.

So, we had lunch with this couple over the weekend that I know through work; they’re a little older than we are and about to retire and move to Costa Rica. They were showing me and the Mister house plans and plans for the local community they’ll be investing in which includes a community farm.

It’s pretty amazing. So part of the decision making process for them shifted when they connected with Nadine from Happier Than a Billionaire in Costa Rica (who I featured in my Weekly Round-Up on Sunday). I’ve started e-stalking Nadine via her blog and social media.

Simplicity [Virtual Coffee at High-Heeled Love]

I’m not saying that I’m going to become an  ex-pat (although it’s tempting), but I’m inspired at how she and her husband have simplified their lives and their so content. Whether I spend the rest of my life here in South Carolina, move across the country or across the world, I want to be content with simple living, and I’m going to find ways to do that.

The first step for us is to get rid of debt. After months of discussing it, the Mister and I are starting the Dave Ramsey Financial Peace University next weekend at church. I think we’ll both breathe much easier having more solid financial foundation.

Okay, I guess I have to get to it at the office, but before I go, I have one more thing to share. Y’all, this video is the cutest! If this doesn’t get you smiling before work, we can’t be friends anymore.

Here’s a little video we made for all our friends to get to know us a little better.

What’s on your mind this week as we go back to work after a long weekend? If you were going to pick up and move anywhere in the world, where would yo go?
