Thirty Before Thirty

…I’ve been thinking about a Thirty Before Thirty list for a while, and since Valentine’s Day also marks the six-month mark to my 30th birthday, I’ve decided I better compile this list if I’m going to allow myself time to complete it.

1. Train for and run a 10K
2. Use my passport
3. Visit Kate in California
4. Learn to can my own jam and salsa
5. Spend more time outdoors with my husband this summer
6. Make an appointment with a dermatologist and get my moles checked
7. Find a new swimsuit and love how it fits me
8. Start wearing make-up to work every day
9. Finish making my husband’s scarf
10. Be consistent with eating breakfast and taking my vitamins everyday
11. Take a roll class and go kayaking at least once this summer with Rob
12. Get our wills and Powers of Attorney drawn up
13. Start saving for a new laptop
14. Begin teaching myself to knit
15 Spend an afternoon volunteering at a charity or soup kitchen
16. Find a Bible study that inspires me and begin working with it.
17. De-clutter one room each month
18. Go to a yoga class
19. Plan more girls’ nights out
20. Successfully grow my herb garden this year and use it in our cooking
21. Get my music and photos organized
22. Start training at the Mister’s dojo
23. Host a Bunco party
24. Hold three blog giveaways
25. Actually complete the 30 Day Shred
26. Take my husband to the beach to watch the sunrise
27. Allot myself one “me” evening each month to spend writing and one to spend pampering myself
28. Reorganize my office and go more paperless
29. Take a salsa class with the Mister
30. Read five classic books that I’ve “always meant to read” and see five classic movies that I’ve “always meant to see”
