I confess…

After all my complaining about the rain we got earlier this summer, I’m actually kind of happy that it’s been raining the past two days. It’s brought a cold front through, which is a relief after the summer heat we were dealing with last week.

I confess…

That the rain also bought me an extra day between runs, which is nice because my feet are taking a little time to adjust to the Vibram Five Fingers I’m breaking in. I have some friends that use them, and they warned me to go easy when I first start started that my feet would be pretty sore.

I had a lot of champagne when we went out for my birthday on Wednesday. My favorite restaurant comped us a bottle of Cava, and that was a treat, but I shouldn’t have birthdays in the middle of the work week. =)

We also got to see this cutie on my birthday…how about that for a birthday surprise?

That my Mister always picks out the prettiest flowers. These are so gorgeous!
