Sometimes this is just the way I feel…especially at the end of a long week.
When people just won’t be agreeable, there is always wine.

We have company coming this weekend, which means that my Friday evening is going to consist of laundry, vacuuming and scrubbing the guest bathroom down. But I’m really excited to see them. We have plans to take them to Flower Festival then have dinner at our favorite Thai Restaurant.

I know I mention jujitsu in my blog posts a lot; it’s become a huge part of my life. If you’re curious to know more about the particular style that the Mister and I study, this video created by one of the schools in California is a great introduction.

This list of 40 Ways to Know You’re from South Carolina keeps showing up in my Facebook news feed. And while I’m not originally from here, a lot of these ring true for me, particularly these:
17. There are four seasons: winter, spring, summer and college football.
18. You are either Tiger or Gamecock and fence riding will not be tolerated.
