Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.

I confess…
I thought with open enrollment ending that I’d have a little time to catch up and work and create some breathing room. Not so much. It’s a good thing to be so busy since I work for myself, but I need a day off.
Fortunately, some ladies and I are making a day trip to Charleston this weekend. More happy news includes warmer temperatures while we’re there.
I confess…
I know that our cold temperatures are not as bad as some parts of the country, but I am so miserable right now. The only thing I can say is that cold weather is great motivation for my crafty projects.
I finished up my first knitted scarf on Tuesday evening, and it has been keeping my little neck warm. I’m moving on to hand warmers this evening.
I confess…
It’s no secret that we cook chili frequently at our house when the weather is cold outside. Our neighborhood association is having a chili cookoff this weekend, and the timing with the weather couldn’t be better.
I’ll be entering our turkey squash chili, and I’ll be sharing the recipe tomorrow at A Little Seed Grows. Check it out if you want a healthy chili to warm up with.
I confess…
In jujitsu on Wednesday, we were filming throws and falls so that those of us who are junior belts could review and see what adjustments need to be made. I was surprised to find this video on my phone.
These are two of the blacks that I train with. It’s a blessing and curse to train with so many talented senior students. Even though they have a decade more martial arts experience than I do, I can’t help but expect my techniques to look like theirs.
I confess…
This is an absolute truth in my house.
