I cannot believe that parts of Columbia got snow last weekend! I live in South Carolina for a reason. I don’t want to see any stinking snow and certainly not as early as November 1. I talked to my aunt in Michigan the other day, and she laughed since I saw snow before she did this winter; it’s not right.

I am starting the Blogilates 8 Week Hot Body Challenge on Monday, and I’m nervous. This is the time of year when it’s hardest to eat healthy and squeeze workouts in. Sticking to the meal plan will be way harder than the workout side of things. Fingers crossed, I’ll stick with it.

I get awfully excited about the red cups and holiday drinks at Starbucks. I bet run to get one more this weekend because they don’t fit in the meal plan I start Monday.

Yesterday, I got to try something new in jujitsu – stick fighting. I was awesome! A great arm and shoulder workout and so good for alleviating stress and frustration. Plus, I can practice the patterns at home!

I think it’s pretty safe to say we subsist pretty much off soups when the weather turns colder, but last night, we made spicy sausage and kale soup, which rocks my world! How funny is it that I shared the recipe on the blog exactly a year ago?
