Hello, friends!

Happy Monday! Can you believe that we’re at the beginning of February? How did your January go? Did you accomplish anything fabulous?

I didn’t get quite as much done as I had set our for myself, but I still feel very accomplished. Let’s review the goals from last month:

Complete the first four weeks of runs in the Couch to 5K training app. Continue to check in with my accountability partner.

Progress: I’m halfway through week 3. I got sick last month, and my foot started bothering me. I’m not trying to injure myself so I’m comfortable with where I’m at.

Update jujitsu notebook and turn in for my sensei to review.
Nope: And the silly thing is that it’s because I need more paper for my ARC system and have been procrastinating on ordering more. My black belt exam is my biggest goal for this year; I need to stop being lame and get this done.

Finish researching Etsy setup fees. Pick a name. Get tax questions together for my accountant.
Progress: I have a name and have done some research. I’ve also reached out a designer to create a logo. But I don’t feel educated enough on the taxes side of things; I need to schedule a call with our accountant.

Finish up December crochet orders and mail them.
Progress. I have 3 of a 5 piece order completed; I need to wrap this up this week.
Read 2 books.
Progress. I finished The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, and we’ve started KonMari-ing our home.  I’m about 2/3 finished with The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey.

Go through “A” client files and work and move them to the new database.
Nope. I have determined I need an accountability partner for this as well and have reached out to a colleague.
Get business tax info together for the accountant.
Progress. We’re waiting on the Mister’s tax documents and should have this wrapped up by the end of the week.

So, maybe I got too ambitious last month, but a lot of those goals have to be done. So let’s move on.

    February Goals

    • Keep working my Couch to 5K plan. My foot continues to give me trouble, so I’m taking more rest days than the training plan calls for but I’ll keep chugging along.
    • Update the jujitsu notebook and have it reviewed by my sensei.
    • Begin restoration massage program at dojo and stay current with homework.
    • Finish all outstanding crochet projects and mail them.
    • Pick two patterns for my Etsy shop and purchase yarn and any other supplies needed.
    • Finish reading The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey. Read Money-Making Mom by Crystal Paine
    • Set up plan with accountability partner to go through my client files at work and begin moving them to new database.
