That said, here were my favorite reads lately:

I was touched this morning by Life of Bon‘s post about cheering on fellow bloggers and small business owners rather than getting jealous. We are so lucky to have access to such talent via this blogland of ours; inspiration should always be right around the corner.

This weekend, we had lunch with some friends who will be moving Costa Rica at the end of the year. They told us that Nadine’s blog Happier than a Billionaire (and book) made a huge difference in making their plans; so I had to check it out. This post about the differences in expatriate living and tourist living is a great resource for saving money during extended travel is a great resource – no matter where you’re traveling.

Bella’s post about helping her younger sister head off to college hit a special place in my heart since my baby sister is off at college (and turns 21 next week!). I love how she hooked her sister up with a college survival kit inspired by her own college experiences.

As always, Wonder Forest has created a useful post about improving your blogging experience; this one focuses on how not to get overwhelmed. One thing I learned that would help me with both my blogs is utilizing “Save It for Later” features.

Finally, I couldn’t close out a WeeklyRound-Up without sharing how excited I am for my co-hostess Miss Angie. She adopted a pibble last weekend; read her gotcha story at My So-Called Chaos.
