Happy Easter! My pups made an Easter card just for you, friends!
Welcome to the Weekly Round-Up linky party, hosted by me and Miss Angie from My So-Called Chaos.
This party is all about sharing those fabulous blogs that you’ve read through the week and promote our blogger community. I hope it will help you use this party to find new blogs to read and build some new blogger friendships.
So, here are the rules:
1. Grab the button.
2. Write a little list of your favorite reads this week and why.
3. Link up below and go find some fabulous new ladies to be friends with.
That said, here were my favorite reads lately:
We’ve been getting broccoli and carrots galore in our Brown Boxes, so I’m on the hunt for recipes. Grated broccoli salad with carrots, apples and warm bacon dressing sounds like a winner. Head over to The Roasted Root for the recipe.
As the weather gets warmer, a refreshing beverage is always welcome. Simply Suzanne’s shares an easy mint cucumber lemonade, and she use’s my favorite store-bought lemonade as a base.
A zesty citrus scrub is just the ticket to wake up in the morning, and Life with Grace shares her recipe for a homemade orange coconut sugar scrub on the blog. I think you could whip up a batch of this in less than 15 minutes.
We’ve all been through a rough spot in life, whether it be a break-up, loss of job, death of a loved one or another challenge. Victoria from Lily Loves Lola shared her list of ways to cope with tough times. I’ve been reading Victoria’s blog since I started High-Heeled Love, and I’m proud of her for keeping her chin up these days.
Finally, my lovely co-hostess Miss Angie from My So-Called Chaos has entered the world of home-buying. In her Friday Confessional post, she discusses the search and adjusting her expectations. Fingers crossed the her contract goes through, and she closes on her new place without a hitch.
