Good morning, my friends!
I’m borrowing this idea from Lucky Number13; she regularly has virtual coffee dates on her blog, and I’ve admired the idea for years. So here we are having a little coffee date.
So this morning, I’m sitting with my coffee and watching the shenanigans of these two. It’s a quite amusing watching them wrestle, though I’m not sure how I feel about the fact that Roscoe jumps from the chair to the ottoman to the couch and back to get Paige.
What happened to this sleepy little puppy? Anyway, Roscoe is now four months old and weighs more than 20 pounds. He’s all done with his puppy boosters. And I’m a little sad that he’s not my itty bitty puppy anymore. They grow up too fast; I can’t even imagine how I’ll feel when we’re talking about babies rather than puppies.
Now, I know that our winters in South Carolina are pretty mild compared to the rest of the country, but February is typically our coldest month of winter. This week though, the weather has gone back and forth from 60s to 30s, and it’s killing my sinuses.
I am really thankful for my good health, but sinus headaches are awful because there’s so little I can do about them. For now, I’ll keep on with the tissues, hot tea and steamy bubble baths.
It seems like outside of work, all my time is going into the art festival that our neighborhood association is organizing. April is approaching fast, and my to-do list is getting longer and longer.
However, I’m really proud of the fact that we have nearly 30 artists registered so far as well as a student art show; it’s going to be a lot of fun.
So I think that’s all I have to ramble about this morning. I hope you enjoyed our coffee date. See you tomorrow for Friday Confessional.
