Puppy Love: A Gotcha Story

So I mentioned yesterday that my Weekly Round-Up was abbreviated, and I wanted to share the circumstances that led to that. The Mister and I was were doing our Sunday thing, which is lounging withe bed with our laptops. We kept hearing a dog whining, but there are so many dogs in our neighborhood that we didn’t think much of it.
Then the Mister bundled up to take our pup Paige for a walk. When he got back, he told me that whining I had been hearing was a puppy that was on the other side of our neighbors house. He thought some one had just left it outside.
Of course, I immediately went to go get him. People abandoning pets makes me really passionate, and it was freezing outside. So we are fostering this little guy at our house for now.
We are calling him Roscoe, and, yes, I want to keep him. But we are waiting to give the city a chance to let us know if anyone is looking for him. (No claims as of yet.)
Roscoe is very young, only 4-6 weeks old, but he’s checked out clean and healthy with the vet so far. Therefore, we’re dealing with all the challenges of puppy-dom, including not very much sleep at night and big time separation anxiety. Wish us luck!
Also, on the note of Musical Monday. I cannot get enough of this Ed Sheeran song.
