Journey to Splits – Week 1 Progress

As part of my goals for July, I’m participating in the #JourneytoSplits, hosted by Blogilates. I’ve never been all that flexible, but I was really pleased with the progress I made in last month’s #TheStretchProject, so I’m giving this challenge a shot as well.

Days 1 – 5 Foundation Stretches

The first five stretches are the foundation stretches; we do each of these everyday. And then beginning on day 6, you do the foundation stretches plus that day’s pose.

Day 6 – Modified Split

I was pleasantly surprised at the progress from Day 28 of #TheStretchProject (see bottom of the photo). Just a week of consistent stretching for 10 minutes every day has made a noticeable difference.
