Its Ok Thursdays

It’s been a while since I’ve linked up for “It’s Ok” Thursdays, and since I’m at a bit of a blog loss today, I thought a little random “It’s okay” might be the ticket. So here we go….

It’s okay…
…to be way too excited about the shaving cream I just switched to. I’m using the baby soft formula, and even though it’s nothing new, I love how soft my skin feels. Plus it smells like baby lotion, which is awesome.

It’s okay…
…to want to play hookie this afternoon for a pedicure. This spring weather makes me what to put some flipflops, and the toenails need a fresh coat of polish first. Don’t worry. I’m not playing hookie, I just want to.

It’s okay…
…to have hit the snooze button a few times this week, even though I’ve pretty much kicked that habit. Daylight savings time is messing with my sleep schedule, but next week, no more snooze button for m.

It’s okay…
…to sneak out of the office for a lunchtime jujitsu classes. You’ve gotta play as hard as you work. Although learning these new throws in jujitsu is a different kind of work. (I can actually do the throw below; it’s a lot easier than it looks.)

It’s okay…
…to already be over the drama about Google Reader being discontinued and the 80something tutorials on how to switch to another platform that were in my feed today. This morning I switched to Bloglovin’ and moved on. If you think this is big, come by my office to learn about health insurance exchanges with me.

It’s okay…
…to be really thanks for that my MIL and her sister are both aestheticians and generous with their free products. They switched up my skincare system about a month ago, and my skin is looking really good after a pretty horrendous winter.

It’s okay…
…to be really excited to head to Las Vegas and then Burbank in just a couple of weeks. I don’t know how those trips sneaked up on me, but I’m excited.
