I’ve decided it’s high time I finished these honeymoon recaps up.

If you’re just joining the party, the Mister and I were offered an opportunity to head out to San Francisco for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Catch up on the rest of the trip here:
Christmas Day & Sunday
Rainy Day Tuesday
On Wednesday, we rented a card to go to Muir Woods and Napa/Sonoma Valley. Going over the Golden Gate Bridge first thing in the morning was pretty amazing.
We were traveling along Highway 101, which had some amazing views. You could see the ocean at almost every turn.
The Mister stopped along the way so we could take some photos of ourselves. The wind was freezing cold, but the scenery was gorgeous.
Then we arrived at Muir Woods. On the drive into the park, we saw a deer. It was pretty cool how close we were able to get to him.
Seeing the trees of Muir Woods was one of my favorite parts of the trip. We took tons of pictures in the park. I’m going to share a few of them here, but if you want to see all of them, you can visit my FB album HERE.
|Most of the trees were nearly 1,000 years old.|
|The trunk of this fallen tree was nearly as tall as I was.|
Up next…wine country!
