Happy Birthday Week Happy List
Since it’s my Happy Birthday Eve, I thought I would share a few things that are making me smile around here.
1. Getting back into running is making me HAPPY. Granted, I’ve been whining about how wicked hot it is and how sore my legs are since I’m out of practice. But there’s nothing like getting back into the cool air conditioning and knowing I knocked a day off the training plan. I’m only doing the C25K program for now, but I’m moving!
3. Cooking with fresh basil from my garden makes my tummy seriously HAPPY. I think it’s one of my favorite smells this summer, and the more I snip, the healthier my little basil plant gets.
4. This evening I tried my hand at a detox bath made with epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda and ground ginger. It was nice to have a half hour to just soak and relax. (And the blog doesn’t lie…you are going to sweat.) Next my granola living checklist is making a homemade acne treatment.
5. Tomorrow is my birthday! I’m sure the Mister has all kinds of special ideas planned. =)
