I’ve determined that I’m horrible at actually doing the recap posts. I still haven’t finished my wedding posts and it’s been almost four months. But I wanted to go ahead and finish up the recaps from my New York City trip with the girls.

More views from the double-decker bus tour on Thursday:

On Friday, we walked around Central Park in the morning before taking the Sex and the City On Locations Tour.

Having all that green space right in the middle of the city was surreal. The park was really peaceful. On my next trip to the city, I’d really like to spend more time there.

The tour was a lot of fun, and our guide was very funny. It gave me a new perspective on one of my favorite shows. And the most of the tour is taken on an air-conditioned buses, which was really nice since it was hotter in NYC than at home in South Carolina.

The Pleasure Chest is where the girls went to buy the infamous Rabbit.

Inside Budakan, the restaurant where Carrie and Big held their rehearsal dinner in the first movie.

This is the street that Magnolia Bakery is on. The street itself just reminded me of the show.

Inside of Steve’s bar, Scout. The bar itself is actually called Onieals, and it’s been open since 1909. The only thing they changed for the show was putting a banner on the sign.
