I cannot believe that it is September already. This year is flying by, and August went so quickly. I’m a little sad that I wasn’t able to give my blog and my bloggy friends more love last month. It was just one of those crazy kind of months.
I have been reading…I just haven’t been commenting a whole lot. Forgive me? Thanks!
I’m so thankful for a holiday weekend. It’s been so crazy at work, that it will be nice to have an extra day just to relax. And I find it ironic that Monday is the only day I’ll be able to sleep in since I have an appointment at the Red Cross on Saturday and church on Sunday.
The Mister and I are toying with the idea of a daytrip to Asheville on Monday, but we’ll have to see how the weekend goes. Is anyone else doing something fun for the holiday?
I’m super excited about kickoff for the Gamecocks. Tomorrow as 7 p.m. I’m going to park it in front of ESPN and yell at the tv to my heart’s content. I haven’t decided if I’m making chili or just ordering pizza, but I do know that there will be beer.
I participate in a weekly football pool through work, and I just sent in my picks for this week. Out of curiosity, who would you pick to win the BCS National Championship this year? I love my Gamecocks, but I’m not crazy. I voted Oregon.
I am currently in love with this song:
I had to laugh this morning when the Mister asked me if it was casual Friday in the office. The reason for this? I’m wearing flats today. Go figure.
