Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
I am thrilled with my Gamecocks for pulling out a win last night. It’s so nice that college football has officially started for the year, and it was a lot of fun to get together with friends to watch the game.
That the Mister finally succumbed and let me buy him a Gamecocks t-shirt. I guess football season eight was the charm. I think he looks good supporting my football team.
A not so fun part of the evening was that I couldn’t drink. Last week, I got what appears to be a spider bite that has become infected so I’m on antibiotics. This includes the joy of getting the “infamous shot in the butt” of the antibiotics the other day at urgent care. I would rather they put me on pills than have to incise and clean the infection though, so thankfully things are getting better.
I believe in corporal punishment for people who start using loud power tools before the noise ordinance ends (translation before 7 a.m.) in our neighborhood. A new roof is being installed next door, which would be fine if they hadn’t started 15 minutes before my alarm was set to go off.
We leave for our camping and whitewater rafting trip this afternoon. It’s been years since the Mister and I have been camping together…. I’m so excited to head out of town.
