Confession is good for the soul.

I confess…

I’ve been pretty boring this week. Work is kicking my butt. And I didn’t work out once. And I can feel it in my jeans. And my pajama pants. You know things are getting bad when pajama pants start feeling like fat pants.

I confess…
I technically have a half-day today because this afternoon I’ll be sitting continuing education. CEs aren’t necessarily fun, but they are a nice way to break up the grind. And a CE that ends at 5:15 is still getting me out of work earlier than if I were in the office. That works for me.

I confess…
Back in January, I said I had a big work announcement but that I wanted to wait until it was official. I really want to tell y’all, but we still haven’t finished up the paperwork. Boo. It is big news though.

I confess…
In my Happy List I mentioned that we were having our taxes done last weekend. The Mister asked me to revise my Happy List because we walked away that morning with a big bill. Yuck! We’ll survive, and everything is going to be okay. But who wants to pay additional taxes, you know?

I confess…
The Mister absolutely cracks me up sometimes. He really likes the little glass bottled “baby” cokes. Our neighbor said to him on Saturday: “I have some hot baby cokes if you want one.” Do you know what he heard? “Pot-bellied goats.”

One morning, I greeted him with “Rise and shine, Sunshine.” The Mister heard “Rise and shine, Muscadine!” Only my husband.
