It’s so hard to believe that it’s December already. It seems like I was just writing about last Christmas and finishing up our honeymoon recaps. I can’t believe the year is almost over again. Where is the time going?
And speaking of time flying by, this post is my 500th post. It’s kind of funny that a little blog to help our long distance friends and family keep up with our wedding plans has turned into such a big part of my life. I have made bloggy friends all over the world, and now I can’t imagine not blogging.
I feel like I should have a giveaway to celebrate the accomplishment, but I think I’ll wait until after my Shabby Apple giveaway closes.
I was so excited last weekend about Muggles joining our family. I loved that cute little kitten so much….and on Tuesday she wasn’t in the yard when we got home from work. We haven’t seen her at all since then, and I’ve finally had to accept that she’s not coming home.
I have to presume that she was either (a) hit by a car (or something equally horrible) or (b) adopted by someone else who couldn’t resist how adorable she is. I’m choosing to believe that it was option b.
Even though I only had her three days, I still cried when she wasn’t there on Tuesday.
I played hooky from the dojo both classes this week. Considering that the season of holiday indulgence has begun, I’m not doing myself any favors there. I’m going to try to sneak workout or two in this weekend, but next week I have to get back to class.

I’ve been trying to tune into the radio stations in the car that play Christmas carols 24/7. And I keep changing the station out of frustration. Not because of the programming; I love Christmas music…but I refuse to listen to six minutes of commercials. I realize that advertising is necessary, but it seems like there’s more ads than there is music lately.
I may be a little late to the party, but I’m still beyond excited that the Mister ordered me an Erin Condren planner yesterday as an early Christmas gift. There was a deal for a $50 credit for only $25…so he was plenty pleased to pay half the cost.
Also, Jessica at My Beatles Babies is having an Erin Condren giveaway that ends next Friday. So if you don’t have a planner yet, head over to enter to win a $25 credit.
Now I just have to wait until my new goodie gets here. And we all know patience is a virtue that I do not possess.
