I’m not quite sure why I’m so excited since I have work to do over the weekend, too, but I am. I can’t believe there’s only five work days before Christmas. It’s time to confess all the crazy this week. Here we go.
It makes me smile to see other Prius drivers on the road. Yesterday, there were three of us right in a row on the interstate. Hybrid cars are going to take over the world….or at the very least, the interstates around Columbia, South Carolina.
According to a forum I read. The unofficial plural form of Prius is Prii. That makes me smile, too. I nicknamed mine Pria. I find it hard to believe that I’ve had her for almost 2 years. I love that car just as much as when we bought her.
I love my new iPhone, but I kind of wish I had not tweeted about getting it. I have received spammy tweets waaaay too often since I mentioned it. Hey spammers, I know those links won’t take me to a free anything, and I know how to use that handy “Report Spam” button in my twitter. (Hey, are we twitter friends? Follow me @highheeledlove if not)
I have not needed to do a full grocery trip in weeks. We’ve been picking up things here and there for breakfast and lunch, but holiday parties have consumed dinner. I appreciate not having to cook, but I am looking forward to getting back to healthier eating after the holiday.
That in addition to eating healthier after the holidays, I should really focus on working out on a regular basis. My schedule only looks to get busier next year, and if I don’t make working out a commitment to myself, it’s going to fall out of my lifestyle. If anyone would be up for another workout challenge like my Spring Movement Challenge, would you send me an email?
This quote came in my inbox today, and it was just perfect for me.

Sometimes, I’m not quite sure how music ends up in my iTunes. I frequently import cds I’ve rediscovered, and I get free music through sites like NoiseTrade. Sometimes the music has just been there for years and hasn’t come up on my playlist in a while.
Either way, this song by Carrie Underwood came played this morning on the drive to work, and it made me really stop and think about what I could be doing to help others. Isn’t that something we should all be trying to do, especially during the holidays?
