I confess…

I know this post is a day late. I’m sorry. Yesterday was a big day. I hope you’ll forgive me and still join the party. I’ll be extending the linky a couple extra days since the post went up late.

I confess…

I started the morning with my mother-in-law….We were taking care of some official sort of things, and she felt better having some help. All I can say is God is good. I can’t go into any details, but I can say that what started as a pretty stressful situation is nearly resolved in the best possible way.

I confess…

Then, the Mister alerted me to this a Facebook post from my aunt in Washington. The wildfire in their area had caused them to have to evacuate twice. They had heard that their home was burned, and my aunt was heartbroken, thinking she’d lost her house and her horses.

Well, God is good. They were informed yesterday morning, that even though they lost their barn, the horses are okay and the house was spared.

Aunt April & I at her wedding last month.

There is a still a lot of damage in that area, and many families in the community lost their homes. Please keep them in your prayers.

I confess…

Also yesterday afternoon, my best friend texted me that they were on the way to the hospital because his girlfriend’s water had broken. At a little after 10 p.m., he face-timed me so that I could say hello to my goddaughter.

Baby Emily
Y’all, meet Baby Emily. She’s a big girl, weighing in at 10 lbs 1 oz. The Mister and I will be driving up tomorrow to meet her in person. I’m in love. God is good.
