Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
I am so excited to be starting a new year. I have big goals for 2016, and I just know this year is going to be filled with great things.
The Mister and I had a quiet New Year’s Eve staying in. We made dinner, drank wine, laughed a lot and snuggled with our pups. It was exactly what I needed to recharge for a new year.
I decided after reviewing our Financial Peace Journey in December that we could find a few more dollars to throw at our next item on the debt snowball. Dave Ramsey always says “sell so much stuff the kids think they’re next.”
One of the hardest items for me to let go of is books, but I realized after listening to Sage Grayson’s podcast this week that some of the books I was hanging on to are emotional clutter, reminding of me of a person I was trying to be but wasn’t. So I packed them up and took them to a second hand store and earned another $25 to pay toward debt.
We are all supremely tired of the rain. I appreciate that this el nino weather pattern is keeping the temperatures warmer this winter, but it feels like it’s been raining for months. We starting to have issues with flooding all over Columbia, and frankly, my dogs want to go for a long walk.
I am really hoping to win this giveaway hosted by My So-Called Chaos. A nice DSLR is on my wish list and winning one would be amazing.
