I confess…

This has been a busy week. I’ve been on the go everyday this week for work so I’m happy to have a day to  catch up on paperwork. Sometimes you just need a day with no meetings to sit quietly in the office and knock the to-do list down.

That said, yesterday my meeting was in the upstate so I got to have lunch with my buddy Rob and sweet baby Em. She woke up long enough to let me hold her and give a bottle…then she was only interested in being held by her dad.

I think the fall weather has finally arrived here in Columbia, and I’m loving it. Having all the windows open and fresh air in the house is one of my favorite things ever.

We will be watching the game with my awesome friend Lisa and her husband this weekend. They’ve recently moved back to South Carolina from the West Coast, and we’re so thrilled that they’re back.
