This week has required a lot of travel and meetings, which has been putting the blog on the back burner a little bit. However, I’m really excited that next weekend, I’ll be participating in a blogging workshop called Streamline Your Online Space later this month that I’m really excited about.
I stopped for gas the other day on the way home from a meeting out of town, and the gentleman at the pump next to said I was the best dressed person he’d sign on his drive up from Florida. That the kind of compliment that just makes my day.
It’s great to have a couple outfits that make you feel like a million bucks; my red dress is one of those.
Tonight will be our first homework night for the Dave Ramsey course that we started last weekend. I’m excited to be making forward progress, but I’m a little scared that we’re not going to like what we see on paper.
BUT you can’t fix a problem if you don’t know you understand it, and we’ve known for too long that we need to be living by an actual written budget, not just hoping that we make enough to pay the bills.
Today is National Cheeseburger Day. We usually have pizza on Friday nights at our house, but that’s not the plan for tonight. Cheeseburgers are one of the main reasons I’d never be able to become a vegetarian.
I don’t think I’ve mentioned it on the blog, but I’m heading to New Orleans in two weeks for a work conference. I’ve never been to the city, and I’m super excited for this trip.
If you have favorite places to visit, please leave them below in the comments. I don’t know how much free time I’ll have to play tourist, but I want some ideas for whatever time I do have.
