Yesterday, I did some serious fall shopping at White House Black Market since I had some coupons and a gift card I had received for my birthday. In my opinion WHBM is one of the few mall retailers that offers true customer service. The associates at my store are great. And with the coupons the store offers, you can walk away with some killer deals.

Until yesterday, I had never bought a pair of leggings or skinny jeans. But thank you, jujitsu and #NOEXCUSES challenges, I finally feel confident enough to wear them! Even the manager told me that she could tell I’d lost some weight since I had been in in July.

Speaking of #NOEXCUSES, I have felt behind this month compared to August because my daily walks kept getting rained out. I just added up my minutes so far, and I’m at 540/1500. I guess I’m on track since we’re only about a third through September. If nothing else, Black Belt class tomorrow morning should garner at least another 250 minutes.

After several days of beautiful fall weather, it got hot again yesterday. I wish that Mother Nature would just make up her mind already. 90 degree plus weather didn’t stop me from stopping for a pumpkin spice latte or making chili last night for dinner. I want it to be fall already!

Next week is gonna be a little crazy at work. I’m travelling or in conferences 4 days; how am I going to get any actual work done?
