Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
On Tuesday, I attended a funeral for a friend’s husband. It was terribly sad; he had a very aggressive form of cancer and passed within a year. It also hit a little too close to home. We’ve known this couple since they started dating; they’ve been married about as long as the Mister and I have. He was only a few years older than the Mister is.
This was a reminder to me that we haven’t taken care of our wills or powers of attorney. Nobody really likes to think about that stuff, but you have to if you want to take care of each and your family. And as an insurance agent who reminds my clients to do this stuff day in, day out, we really don’t have any excuse.
My step-sister and her family adopted Sunshine from my last weekend. I’m really glad that this sweet kitten has a family to love her. It will be a much better situation than her being my office kitty. However, the office has been pretty lonely without her.
The only way I’ve survived this work week is lots and lots of coffee. When you work for yourself, it is a good thing to be busy, but I’m feeling a little overwhelmed and exhausted.
I’ve discussed how I use Ebates as a way of earning money back on my online shopping. I was excited to see that I a check when into the mail on Monday.
And I’ve recently found a way to earn some cash back on my regular grocery shopping. Ibotta is an app that let’s me earn rebates on my grocery items. Each little bit adds up over time, and it allows you and your friends to form a team so that you can help each earn extra cash. If you want to join my team, my referral code is wrcjxlq.
