Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
All I can say is that when the forecast looks like this, I’m really thankful that so many friends and family are generous with their pools.
It’s just too hot to do much other that hide in the air conditioning or get in the water.
With that in mind, we’re long overdue for a trip to the beach. I’m not counting the work conference last month because the schedule was never conducive going to the beach.
The Mister’s family are headed down next weekend, but we’re not going to be able to make it. Hopefully soon, we’ll have a quick day trip to Charleston to see my sister and lounge at the ocean.
One of my favorite parts about using the Fitbit application is the step challenges that allow you to compete amongst friends. This week, however, I was clearly not moving enough because I came in dead last. (Also, the guy who hosted it is in a different time zone, so it started/stopped at some weird hours compared to when I’m active.) There’s always next week!
In spite of the lack of steps, the Mister and I have been keeping up with the #JourneytoSplits, and I’ve been be jujitsu twice this week. Jujitsu has been more advanced lately, and I little scared to go to black belt class tomorrow since I’m so sore from Thursday.
