Friday Confessional 6.6.14
Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
I despise parking garages. I always feel like I can’t see well enough and that someone is going to come flying around the corner and hit me. And they’re confusing; I get lost in them too easily. I told the Mister last week that my idea of the seventh level of hell is being stuck in a parking garage and not being able to get out.
I initially read a couple of her books because she’s an author from South Carolina, but her writing is excellent. What I didn’t expect was for her to be so entertaining in person. The woman is hilarious.
I’m starting to grow quite the collection of signed book by South Carolina authors. At this point, I have four: Dorothea Benton Frank, Pat Conroy and two by the Lee Brothers. Maybe I’ll eventually have a whole book shelf.
The Mister and I spent an evening together this week hanging insulation in the living and dining rooms. We were both pleasantly surprised that we manager to get the job done quickly with no bickering and no casualties. Trust me, that it not how our projects typcially go.
On my way home from my golf lesson yesterday, I watched a driver pull up to a red light next to me in the left turn lane. He then proceeded to sit there for about a minute, check the traffic in the crosssing road, put his blinker on and turn left to run the light.
I don’t think it was an oversight or that he spaced out. It looked like he deliberately ran the light. Fortunately, he didn’t cause an accident, but the gall of some drivers never ceases to amaze me.
