Yesterday, we dropped Roscoe off at the vet for his neuter surgery, and I was a nervous wreck. We must have caught the vet assistant before her coffee because she was pretty non-communicative….which only made me more nervous. You know the whole bedside manner thing?
My fears were for nothing. He did great through the surgery, and was a sweet, sleepy pup last night. The tough part will be actually getting him to stay relatively calm until the stitches come out in 10 days.
The Mister had important work to do on Wednesday night when we went to him mom’s for dinner. Our sweet little nephew graduated to a toddler bed this week, and the Mister was drafted to put it together.
I cannot believe how fast this kid is growing up.
I am beyond ready for our trip to the beach. I know it’s for a work conference so it won’t be completely vacation, but it will be nice to get out of town for a few days.
