I talked in my last post about the fitness goals I’m working on this month. So far, things are going well, but that AB-pril challenge. The plank is being a pain the…abs. =) I can feel the burn, which should mean that things are working, right?
I kidnapped the Mister’s car this morning to take it for an oil change. There’s something about zipping around town in his little VW. Driving a 5-speed makes me feel like I’m in my early 20s again, though the manual I drove in college was a pickup truck.
Not eating out this month is proving to be challenge. We’re doing okay since we built a few date nights in, but I find myself craving take-out for lunch. So far, I’ve managed to hold out.
Everything is in bloom around here, and the pollen is in full force. There have been some interesting psychadelic paint jobs on the cars in the mornings. I guess it’s time to take them to be washed and waxed.
Tomorrow is a Brown Box Veggies day. We’re each working different locations, so we’ll probably wind up with a fruit box in addition to our regular veggie box. Time to get creative with the recipes.
