Friday Confessional 4.25.14
Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
The Mister and I headed out to a fancy gala dinner last night, and I may have had a little too much to drink. So this morning has a been a slow start.
I love a good reason to get dressed up, and as a “grown up” those reasons don’t seem to come around that often anymore.
After the gala, we stopped in a new restaurant Bourbon of Columbia, which has a super cool vibe. I’ve discovered two new cocktails that I really like – Whiskey Smash and the Harvest (Moscow) Mule.
Both drinks are pretty simple to make, so I’ll probably try to replicate them at home sometime.
We’re having a little yard sale tomorrow, which means that I have tons of stuff sitting in my living and dining rooms right now. The plan is to donate whatever we don’t sell. De-cluttering our house is a serious goal this year. It’s amazing how empty our attic is at the moment.
I can’t believe it’s the end of April already. I have set some pretty lofty second quarter goals at work, so I really need to buckle down next week and make some progress.
This isn’t so much a confession as it is a simple truth, but coffee puts a smile on my face every time.
