Last night the Mister and I headed out to the charity auction that we attend each year. Proceeds benefit a local hospital’s cancer treatment and research. It’s a pricey ticket, but we have fun and it’s a good excuse to buy a new dress.

For the first time ever, I won an item I was bidding on. We have a local artist nicknamed The Chicken Man. He was at our art festival, but I was too busy then to get to shop. I am thrilled that I now own one of his chicken paintings for my office.

I made a mistake by getting on social media and saw a huge spoiler for Grey’s Anatomy. If you have already watched it, tell me what you thought in the comments…let’s just be careful about spoilers for through the weekend for those of us that catch up on the weekends.

This rugrat is definitely testing his limits lately. This week’s shenanigans include jumping into the compost bin. Yep….we’ve fashioned a cover for it now. He also likes to wake me up by jumping on the bed and licking my eyes. It’s a good thing he’s cute.
