Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
I’ve said it a couple times on the blog recently, but these last few weeks have been crazy at work. I was telling the Mister yesterday, that I think I’ve taken more applications in the last 10 business days than probably the first two months of the year combined. It’s a good thing, but wow, I’m ready for a few days off.
In preparation for celebrating the end of open enrollment, I have booked an hour-long “Total Relaxation” massage at a local day spa for next Tuesday. I am so excited about the idea of just doing nothing for an hour, the time can’t pass fast enough.
Our dojo is hosting a ladies only clinic tonight and tomorrow. I’m looking forward to working out some tension on the mat. Plus it’s going to be cool to focus specifically on self defense ideas for women. We’re going to be doing some work without our gis on; I don’t get to practice without the heavy jacket often so this should be interesting.
Because of the ladies only clinic, I intend to get my toenails painted before heading to class this evening. Working out with mostly guys means that I don’t have to worry as much about this stuff, but when it’s ladies only, I want my feet to look nice.
P.S. Miss Angie is a doing a huge nail polish giveaway over at My So-Called Chaos; there are five prizes to win.
I have eaten out way too much in the last few weeks, especially for lunch. I need to make April and May eat at home month if I want to have some fun money for our trip in June.
