I am LOVING my time in Austin so far. The weather has been gorgeous; I can’t get enough of the sunshine and blue Texas skies.

We started the day off by trying to go to Franklin’s Barbeque; we were hoping since I arrived at 11 a.m., that we’d get into line before the wait was too ridiculous. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t with us, and the wait was more than 2.5 hours so we headed over to Stubb’s BBQ instead.

Janna and I have been thoroughly enjoying taking selfies and cheesy tourist photos as well.

I miss my pups, but I’ve been making friends with pups all over town.

It’s a good thing that we’re going to be doing some hiking and other active things because look at all the food!
