I had to laugh at this video. An escape from this double-handed grab is one of the first few techniques we learn in jujitsu…but personally, I’d rather poke them in the eye.

I was lucky enough to be given some tickets to the Columbia City Ballet’s presentation of Peter Pan this evening. This time, the Mister is coming with me; it will be nice to have a proper date night where we dress up and go out together.

This pup started barking at pedestrians at 6:30 this morning. I’m glad that he keeps an eye on our house but not at the expense of our sleep.

The Mister and I intend to spend this weekend getting the garden prepped to be planted. We’re expecting one more cold snap to come through Sunday night, which is why the wizened, old farmers around here say you never plant before Easter weekend.
