Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
The girls and I had a great time last weekend on our ladies day trip to Charleston. One of the girls had never been to the city. She’s also a photographer so it was interesting to see what caught her eye to take photos.
We also met up with my sister, who’s a student in Charleston, and had a fabulous lunch at Hyman’s.
On the way home, I wasn’t paying attention, and we ran out of gas one mile from a gas station. This is particularly embarrassing since I drive a hybrid, but thank goodness I do. I was able to use the car’s eco mode to drive us that one mile and coast into the gas station even though the gas was gone. Otherwise, we would have been walking in the dark and cold down a country highway I’m not familiar with. Not a good idea, you know?
I may have indulged in Oscar cookies and coffee for breakfast on more than one occasion this week. There’s just something about chocolate and caffeine that go together in my head.
The Mister and I are participating in an iaido clinic this weekend. I talked about what an honor it is to work out with Matsushita Sensei before our clinic last fall. Taking a two-day clinic learning from the best in the world is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We’re pretty fortunate the our dojo and sensei has the relationship we do with this talented martial artist.
