Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
This week, y’all. Maybe a bit too much. The Mister are thoroughly enjoying our company who is in town from Hawaii. She’s always a treat to spend time with, but the rest of the jujitsu weekend has turned into a marathon and we’re only one day in.
The Mister is the exam coordinator for our region of the country, so when other students test for their black belt levels, he handles the paperwork and gets the exams ready. He has to work during the day this year, so I’ve been helping another student at our school oversee the exam process during the day. I’m ready to hand the reigns back to the Mister. It’s a lot more work and a lot more stressful than it appears to be….but so far everyone has passed their exams so that’s a win.
I attempted my first Day of the Dead makeup for last week’s Halloween party. It was a lot of fun and not as hard as I thought it would be. I may give it another shot next year with new colors.
As much as I’m enjoying our jujitsu clinic this year, I’m a little bummed that we won’t be working Brown Box Veggies this weekend. I hate that I’ll be missing out on all the fresh veggies that we get from that gig.
I don’t know if any of you saw the Gamecocks football game last weekend, but I nearly had a heart attack. We’ll take the win, but it would be nice if this weekend, it didn’t have to come in double overtime.
