Friday Confessional 1.24.14
Good morning, lovelies!
Confession is good for the soul, so grab the button and let it all out. You’ll feel better when you’re finished.
In my book, Indian samosas and a couple glasses of Cava at my favorite restaurant is the ticket to make a cold, mid-week night special.
I need to figure out how to make these things at home.
I’m ready for it to be summertime again. Freezing cold mornings are not good for my work ethic; all I want to do is snuggle in my bed and read when it’s cold out. Flannel sheets are not helping with this situation.
Speaking of work, it feels like things have finally calmed down a bit. I’m still busy, which is good since I’m in sales, but it’s not crazy to the point that I don’t know how I’ll get back to everyone busy.
We’re a little overwhelmed with bananas in our house right now. It’s a result of extras from Brown Box Veggies last weekend. The Mister has been saying all week that he’s going to make banana bread, but I might need other ideas to use them up…anybody have any suggestions?
On the crochet front, I started a bobble stitch afghan a couple weeks, which will probably keep me occupied for weeks. At least I’m being productive with my television time, but I’m reminded of why I like to make scarves – I can knock them out in a day or two.
