Hi friends!
#FitforMeThursdays is a linky hosted every other Thursday by Health Not to Nut, Burke Does and She is Joyful to help motivate each other to stay on track with our health and fitness goals.
This week’s theme is fitness fashion.
For the jujitsu classes that I take, we wear a uniform that is called a gi. Underneath, I normally wear an athletic top, sports bra and spandex shorts underneath my gi. This way, I know all the important parts are covered if my gi shifts while we’re throwing or grappling.
These days, I like the brand Xersion for my athletic tops and leggings. I get mine at JCPenney.
When it comes to running shoes, I’m a Nike kind of gal. I’ve tried several brands out through the years, but I keep coming back to them. Once I find a shoe I like, I usually order through Road Runner Sports for a little savings; I also get my sports bras cheaper there.
If I’m ordering online, I always start with Ebates for a little cash back. Road Runner Sports gives 5%; JC Penney gives 6%; Nike gives 3%. Ebates also shows me any coupons or sales my stores are running.
I also really like the Blogilates’ Ogorgeous and Bodypop Activewear. I have to admit that Cassey’s items are a splurge for me, but I do like to order a couple pieces from her every now and then because I like to support other bloggers. I’m also super proud that she accomplished her dream of designing fashion and combined with her passion for fitness.
Finally, I don’t leave my house without my Fitbit. That little wrist band is a constant reminder to me to stay active. Fitbit makes activity tracking easy and automatic.
