C Mae at Happiness Is… is hosting a fun linky today where we get to show off our engagement/wedding rings. The idea that we create a post showcasing our rings and the stories behind them. It also allows single or nearly-engaged ladies to “shop” without having to go to a store and deal with sales people.

So without further ado, here are my rings:

I shared our proposal story back when I first started blogging. It’s hard to believe that post was written back when we first got engaged in May 2009.

Ring specifics:
My center stone is a 1-carat white sapphire in a round brilliant cut.

All the accent stones in both bands were given to me by my step mother; they are also round brilliant cut. According to the appraisal, they are G color and SI1-VS2 in clarity.
The rings are custom-made from palladium.

If any of the guys are interested, my husband band is 9 mm and made of tungsten carbide.

We custom-ordered our rings from Moseley’s Diamond. All photos by Chi Photography. Also, be sure to check out our ring-warming ceremony.
